Due to popular demand. I readded the webcam back to the page, but don't expect it to always be working.. I do need some privacy. Fixed a few bugs where when you clicked on a persons name or a location, the page went all screwy. I also changed the opening page. I added two options, one for fullscreen to view the page the way it was meant to be viewed, and a windowed link so you people who feel trapped or are computer challenged don't get all flustered. =P
Anyway, I should be hitting the sack now. Night.

Aight.. so do to stupid CSS problems now noted in Mozilla and Netscape. This site now works in Netscape and Opera. Although opera likes to repeat menu corners. The important thing is it's cross browser compatible... alright Brd? The album page seems to half load every so often.. if that happens, reloading the page will fix the problem.

Okay.. I think we're done. I'm going to mass mail the link tonight or as soon as I get all the addresses together. No time for bug testing really. I'm anxious to get this out into the public, and some people won't leave me alone about it. So I added the guestbook thing I decided to add last night today. And finally developed a little poll thing. Ironically, it was something I've wanted to create for about 3-4 years now. And it took me all of 10 minutes to do tonight... lol. After all that. But anyway...

Okay so over the last few days I've added about a total of 400 photos with several sets left to go. The Baby Emily Christening and the Houskamp-Walker Wedding. Both with almost 50 pictures each alone.. not to mention photos from Brad and Jarred I have to figure how I'm going to enter since I don't have dates. Well Brads I do. But I think it's about time I open the flood gates now. So I'm going to write a quick little nothing message book tomorrow (Thanksgiving) and mass email the link out.

A few nights ago I posted another 40 pictures totaling 61 up now. And decided on a small break period again. Added some more files... mainly the movies column, also made it so the movies are embeded in the page. Also added the resume page for anyone who was looking. What better to do on a Saturday night right? What's better then sitting home doing a little bit of self loathing while working on something you hope will change your life?

So I encountered a small distraction from my regular coding process. It's a Sci-Fi role-playing game called Earth and Beyond. I absolutely love it. Best part is I installed it on my laptop so I can play it anywhere I have a decent net connection. Loser maybe. But after playing for a full 6 hours on Sunday evening, coding seemed like childs play Monday night. The Album is working wonderfully, and I've added some additional content. I should probably add my resume to this soon since it's the main reason I created it. But I'd say we're about 2 days from release. I'd like to get a good amount of the pictures in the database people have things to search through. Enough for tonight though. I'm out. PEACE!

A little longer of an update then I was hoping, but nothing severe. Upgraded the Admin picture pages so it's all in one now. Noticed today that the page falls apart horribly when loaded under Netscape, and there are some bugs with Opera. So for now Internet Explorer is the way to go. I'm also developing a new display page. I may start from scratch on that one again. My code is REALLY messy. LOL.
On a lighter note, I had an interview today with Time Warner. Since I got burned by my last interview, I'm not keeping up my hopes or anything about this one. We'll see how that goes.

I think it's about time I began to add an update section to this thing. Not that anyone besides me is really going to see it. Just thought it'd be a nice thing to include on the front page. But Anyway.
So the actual background design of the page has been finished. I have to say it the first real design I can say I'm truly proud of. I'm very glad it will bear the Tomazic name. I'm still trying to determine where to put the menu though, but I think I'll decide soon enough. Now it's time to place all the elements and what not. Well here goes nothing. |
